    Tom Seabrook is a historian and educator based in Central Virginia. His interests include memory, technology, architecture, and local history. Seabrook earned his BA in history and English from the College of William & Mary and his MA in history from Virginia Tech. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in history at George Mason University, where he is writing his dissertation on memory, white supremacy, and the built environment in Charlottesville, Virginia. Seabrook has worked as a public historian at several Richmond-area sites, including the American Civil War Museum and Hanover Tavern, and has taught courses on the Civil War and science & technology studies.
